The Marjorie Keillor Genealogy Library

The Powell River Genealogy Group maintains a specialized library of genealogical books, magazines, research materials relevant to genealogical studies, as well as a large collection of local interest books. These reference materials are invaluable for the genealogist, either beginner or veteran.

The library is located at 6792 Cranberry Street and is open one half hour before the Sunday meetings.

A Little Library History

Marjorie Keillor was an integral part of the Powell River Genealogy Group as our club Librarian. When she passed away suddenly in 1994, Pamela Voss put forward a motion that we should name our Library after her. This was done and today it is still called the Marjorie Keillor Genealogy Library.
